THE FOUNDERS

“You don’t need to be fixed. You need to realign with what your body has been asking for all along.”
SHRUTI
Co-Founder, Samatva Space – Yoga Therapist, Functional Nutritionist, INFS , NASM , iThrive Certified ,Circadian & Hormone Health Educator
Shruti didn’t plan to become a wellness guide. She began her career as a computer engineer — ambitious, high-achieving, always doing the “right” thing. But within a year of starting her job, something unexpected happened. Twice in one year, she fell seriously ill — with no clear diagnosis. For someone who’d never experienced such intense health breakdowns, it was alarming.
Her body was trying to say something. So she listened.
She walked away from the corporate world and went inward — exploring solo travel across India, seeking something she couldn’t yet name. From the calm waters of Wayanad to the rhythms of Ziro and the spiritual pull of Rishikesh, she began softening. Slowing down. Listening.
That’s when yoga, which had once been a weight-loss tool in her teens, began revealing its true magic — as a language of healing, intuition, and embodiment.
But Shruti’s journey hasn’t been smooth. For years, she silently navigated dysmenorrhea, irregular periods (spaced 45–90 days apart), mood crashes, and emotional overwhelm that so many women brush off as “normal.” It took years of yoga therapy, functional nutrition, nervous system work, and reconnecting to circadian rhythms to reach a place where her period now arrives on time, pain-free, and in deep harmony with her body’s signals.
“Now I don’t need to track my cycle — I feel it. I know when I need to slow down, when I can push, when something’s off. My body is no longer a mystery to me. It’s my map.”
A key shift came when she stopped fighting her body’s timing and started living by it — rising with the sun, respecting natural light cues, eating with her biology, sleeping with her hormones.
“Healing didn’t come from more effort. It came from aligning with how the body was designed to thrive.”
Shruti holds over 2000 hours of yoga training, including certifications in Yoga Therapy, The Yoga Body's Aerial Yoga, and deep anatomical and energetic foundations. She is also certified through NASM, INFS, iThrive Academy (Functional Nutrition), and has completed Yohan Tengra's Biohacking Mastery Course.
Today, she supports women who’ve tried everything — calorie counting, hormone panels, workout plans — and still feel off. Her work blends modern nutritional science, nervous system healing, circadian alignment, and feminine movement to restore vitality, flow, and inner authority.
NITHYA
Co-Founder, Samatva Space – Balanced Body® Pilates Trainer, Yoga & Breath Facilitator, NASM Nutritionist
For years, Nithya lived in overdrive — thriving in hospitality, juggling a demanding sales and marketing career, and meeting every deadline at the cost of her own well-being. She was always composed on the outside. But her body began telling a different story.
In 2013, after years of long working hours and chronic stress, Nithya developed spondylitis. The pain and stiffness weren’t just physical — they were messengers. Her body was weakening, her energy was dipping, and she was struggling to keep up.
Then came 2015: Thyroid autoimmunity. What followed was a cascade of symptoms many women know too well — unexplained weight gain, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, palpitations, panic attacks, and a sense that her body was no longer her own.
By 2018, it felt like everything was spiraling. And yet, she showed up to work every day. Smiled. Pushed through. Until she couldn’t anymore.
In 2019, Nithya made a quiet but radical decision:
“I’m going to take care of myself. No matter what.”
That decision led her to rediscover movement — not as a form of exercise, but as medicine. And that’s when she found Pilates.
“Back then, everyone said strength training wasn’t good for thyroid. But when I discovered Pilates — low impact but focused on muscle control — it changed everything. It helped me rebuild from within.”
She immersed herself in study, becoming a certified Balanced Body® Pilates instructor, a 500-hour trained yoga teacher, and an NASM-certified nutritionist. Her approach is now rooted in alignment, self-regulation, and softness — offering movement that supports energy, hormonal balance, and long-term sustainability.
Today, Nithya holds space for women whose bodies are calling for something gentler but effective. Women who are exhausted, inflamed, or just feel disconnected. Through Samatva Space, she helps them return to their bodies — not with force, but with deep respect and kindness.

"There’s a strength that isn’t loud. That doesn’t overwhelm. That heals. That’s the kind I teach.”
Our Vision at SAMTVA SPACE
Where healing meets harmony.
We began Samatva Space with one shared intention: to create a space where women could finally feel safe—in their bodies, in their breath, in their being.
Too many women move through life disconnected—burnt out, bloated, tired of trying everything and still feeling like strangers in their own skin. We’ve both lived that story. And we know the way out isn't another quick fix or rigid plan. It’s coming back to the body's rhythm, one conscious breath at a time.
At Samatva, we blend movement, breathwork, functional nutrition, and nervous system regulation to support real transformation—not the kind that demands perfection, but the kind that helps you feel more you.
We envision a world where women stop fighting their biology and start aligning with it.
Where health isn't hustle, but a return to harmony.
Where yoga isn’t performance, but presence.
Where strength is quiet, cyclical, and deeply rooted.
Because when a woman reconnects with her body, she reclaims her energy, her clarity, her power. And from that place— SHE RISES.
